Amazing Cultivation Simulator

Honey, I Joined a Cult is an economic strategy in which we have an opportunity to create our own cult, and thus recruit new followers, expand the facility, take care of economy and constant development. Sole Survivor Games developed the game full of black humor, and Team17 Digital, which has released such games as Monster Sanctuary and Overcooked, published it.

Plot

The action of Honey, I Joined a Cult takes us to the 1970s, where we have the opportunity to play the leader of a cult. What kind of cult? Everything depends on us and our choices regarding the worship of Divine Being, up to a motto persuading potential followers to join our cult, in which we set the hierarchy and many other aspects necessary for its effective functioning. All this in order to enjoy the money collected from naive and loyal followers.

Mechanics

We start our adventure with Honey, I Joined a Cult by choosing a leader and personalizing our cult. And since every self-respecting cult has its own headquarters, there is also a possibility to expand it. It's up to us to decide on how we want the plan of our centre to look like, how it will be furnished and decorated, as well as what rooms will be in it. We can choose between building an energy spa or a lies detector room, but also many other mysterious and bizarre rooms.

But the action doesn't end there, because this cult still needs to be managed. We have to satisfy the desires of the leader, which must be fulfilled if we don't want that his ability to preach, motivate and recruit new members to decline. Each new follower is a chance for a loyal and devoted member of the cult, ready to climb the internal hierarchy but also to leave behind the cash needed to grow our cult. At all times, however, we must keep them happy on several levels, or they will simply leave and our staff will become smaller and, unfortunately, poorer.

The key to success is in micro-management including food management, surveillance system, creating a schedule with duties for followers and planning missions in the command centre where we send designated followers to the city for specific resources.
