A turn-based strategy set in the realities of World War II with elements of cRPG. Players have the opportunity to command units of General Patton's 3rd Army and take part in military operations in France, Belgium and Germany. Developers from Slitherine studio have made sure that History: Legends of War - Patton combines entertainment with elements of historical education.

Assume the role of General Patton, commanding the Third U.S. Army from the beaches of France to the city of Berlin and lead your forces through a complete campaign composed of 21 challenging missions against the advancing Nazi forces. Legend of War: Patton’s Campaign combines 2 different game modes: high-level strategic management (with RPG elements) and a tactical turn-based mode.

The campaign begins one month after the Normandy landings, when the command of the Third U.S. Army is assigned to Patton. Battle through scenarios based on actual historical operations like Operation Cobra, the Siege of Cherbourg and the Chambois Pocket!

There are 2 distinct game modes in Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign:

Patton’s Campaign: You control Patton’s Third Army from the French beaches to the German capital. Advance through the historical path of Patton’s Third Army traversing the Western European Theater which is divided into 4 different operations across 21 different missions and 44 different maps.
