A strategic real-time game oriented towards historical realities. "History Channel's Alamo (the second title of the game equally used by its producer is "The Alamo") describes the events that took place during the American-Mexican War (1846-1848).

The Mexican Government has stripped Texas of its’ independent status and banned further immigration, effectively making legal immigrants illegal immigrants. After parlaying the Mexican Government, Stephen Austin is arrested and thrown into jail on suspicion of inciting a rebellion. Upon his release, he declares “war is our only recourse…”. Texan volunteers must come to arms and defend the Alamo against a Mexican invasion in an effort to achieve independence from Mexico.

Command your troops to strategic positions around the map to achieve the goals specific to the level. Use walls and objects to your advantage. They provide good cover while reloading, and can mean the difference between life and death.

Time your cannon fire to hit large groups of enemies rather than targeting individual units. While cannons have a slow rate of fire, their range and area effect damage more than make up for the delay.
