Steam
A casual puzzle game created by Shaman Games development studio. The action takes place in ancient Egypt, and the player plays the role of the Pharaoh. Its task is to expand the capital city, face the invaders and strengthen its power. The game offers more than 120 puzzles and 15 mini-games.
Hexus is the work of Shaman Games, a Russian studio specializing in casual productions for occasional players. This time, the history of ancient Egypt became a source of inspiration for developers.
The player plays the role of the Pharaoh, who has to face the invaders attacking the country, expand the capital city, and strengthen his power. This requires tackling many logical challenges, including "combine elements" puzzles, "hidden objects" puzzles, puzzles, and memory tasks.
The gameplay is based on solutions characteristic for casual logic games. The base consists of more than 120 boards on which the elements should be joined into chains of the desired length. Simple mini-games, on the other hand, make up a variety. For the awards you can build buildings in the capital city, which bring you closer to the main goals. The whole is based on an intuitively simple control system, which should not cause problems even to less experienced players.
The quality of workmanship of the audiovisual setting does not differ from the standards of casual games. The creators used two-dimensional graphics with simple animations. The fun is pleasurable thanks to the non-imposing soundtrack.
