An air game recreating air fights during the Second World War. Players sit at the helm and take part in the most famous clashes on the European front, from the attack on London to the fall of Berlin in 1945.

Heroes Over Europe is a sequel to a flying arcade game set in World War II – Heroes of the Pacific released in 2005 on PC and Xbox and PS2 consoles. Both titles were developed by Transmission Games, formerly known as IR Gurus.

As the title suggests, this time we move from the Pacific Ocean to the heat of the conflict, i.e. Europe. The campaign has you do a series of missions that include famous World War II battles – starting with the Battle of London through the Fall of Berlin in 1945. Throughout the missions you play as three Allied pilots. The game offers only one camera mode – from the outside – but features many airplanes, unlocked along with progress in missions and secondary objectives. Among the available planes there are: Bf 109, Fw 190, Ju 87 Stuka, P 51, Spitfire, and Hurricane. The campaign is full of air combat as much as attacking targets on ground and water or covering friendly bombers. In combat you can use so-called Ace Kill that lets you hit the most fragile point in an enemy machine.
