A first-person hack-and-slash game created by Techland studio (Dead Island, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, nail'd, and other titles). Hellraid takes the players to a fantasy universe, in which an army of demons summoned from the underworld gets out of their master’s control and threatens the entire world. Only a team of heroes, who take on the forces of evil with magic and sword, can prevent the imminent catastrophe.
Hellraid for PC, PS4 and XONE is a fantasy adventure game in which the action is shown from a first person perspective. The game was produced bz the Polish development studio, Techland.
Story
The game is set in a dark fantasy universe, standing on the edge of extinction because of the invasion of the forces of darkness. The story begins when a magician evoking demons to strengthen the army of the King of the North makes a mistake which results in the summoned monsters turning against their master. What is worse, the beasts themselves are beginning to open another portals, bringing to the world more of their kind. The land can only be saved by four characters who by sword and magic set out to deal with the invading evil. The developers put an emphasis on a very serious atmosphere, so you will not find any unicorns or fairies in this game.
Gameplay
The game begins with choosing one of four classes – Warrior, Mage, Paladin, or Rogue. The game allows you to play alone, but is focused primarily on the co-operation of up to four players simultaneously. The heart of the game is a complex combat system. A number of different techniques of attack, defense, and combat spells are given at our disposal, and the fights themselves are fast and very brutal. During the adventure, we have to fight a huge varietz of monsters, and sometimes huge bosses. The characters can use the skills of both mass extermination of enemies, as well as assisting their comrades.
The game for PC, PS4 and XONE is enriched with RPG elements. For our successes, we are rewarded with experience points that allow the promotion of our characters to the next experience level and unlocking special . Each class has three special ability trees available of both passive and active abilities.

Hellraid Returns as DLC for Dying Light
Techland has announced a new DLC for Dying Light. The add-on will benefit from the achievements of Hellraid, the developer's unreleased slasher.
