Heaven Dust 2

Mechanics

The gameplay of Heaven Dust 2 is shown from an isometric perspective. The player traverses the research facility and solves puzzles, gradually approaching the exit. Solving puzzles requires finding specific items, combining them and using them in the correct way while avoiding traps (which are usually fatal).

During exploration we're often hindered by enemies. Combat is dynamic, zombies and other monsters can be eliminated with a dagger, a submachine gun, a shotgun or grenades. Ammunition is scarce, forcing us to manage our resources and use melee weapons or our own cunning to come out on top. We must also observe our targets carefully, discovering their weak spots and gaps in their defenses. In addition to regular foes we'll also face powerful bosses. Progressing through the game lets us upgrade our weaponry and face more powerful opponents.

Technical aspects

The visuals of Heaven Dust 2 are colorful and cartoonish. The game's soundtrack creates and maintains an atmosphere of dread.
