Interesting adventure, which was conceived by Jeffrey Tunnell, creator of the famous series The Incredible Machine. The player plays Jake "Lucky" Masters, who is hired by a wealthy businessman to find his daughter, sister of mercy Kate Lomax. The nurse was kidnapped from the clinic in the Chinese village of Chengdu and placed in a nearby fortress. Lomax also suggests contacting a local ninja, someone called Zhao Chi, who will be as useful as a stressful companion in the adventure.
Games uses a slightly modified "point & click" interface. Use the left mouse button to perform all the basic activities, such as chatting, collecting items, moving between locations, and the right mouse button to get a description of the place indicated by the cursor. The inventory is available by pressing the Jake icon in the lower right corner of the screen. The plot is completely linear, although there are exceptions to this rule in a few places, e.g. when Chi and Lucky get near the fortress, you can choose which of the heroes and enter it in two different ways. In this type of situation, there is always a special icon that suggests several solutions to the problem. In addition, the game has several motifs typically arcade, but they can be easily omitted. It would seem that this is all that a fan of adventure games could demand, but there are also some rasps. The biggest of these is that the player can die at any time, generally badly talking in dialogue paths. It can be really annoying, so you often have to use the save option, which certainly does not make the fun fun.
The very strong point of the game is digitalized graphics in low resolution, using the benefits of the extended to 256 colors of the palette. All characters are played by professional actors, not first league, but memorable. Equally good is the musical setting, matching the mood of the 1920s of the last century.
