The second expansion for the World War 2 strategy from Starni Games studio. Headquarters: World War II - Ardennes offers two new campaigns set during the Ardennes offensive. The DLC also bring previously unavailable units, heroes, weather and terrain conditions, as well as uniforms and types of camouflage.
Headquarters: World War II - Ardennes is the second (after Market Garden) expansion to the World War II turn-based strategy game titled Headquarters: World War II. The expansion was prepared by Starni Games studio, which created the base version of the game and oversees its development.
New features in the expansion
As the title suggests, Headquarters: World War II - Ardennes focuses on the offensive in the Ardennes, which was the last major operation of this type conducted by Germany on the Western Front of World War II. The add-on allows us to take control of both German and Allied forces. We can lead the attack when playing on the German side or arrange a counterattack when commanding the Allies.
Over the course of two campaigns (one for the United States and one for Germany), we have the opportunity to save surrounded units at Bastogne, stop the German attack at Wardin, and participate in the battle at Sankt Vith.
The list of new features developed for this expansion also includes new units (5 for the United States, 4 for the United Kingdom, and 3 for Germany), among which advanced British and American tanks are leading.
In addition, there are 6 heroes waiting to be checked here, as well as previously unseen types of weather and terrain formations. The DLC also features winter camouflages and uniforms for our subordinates, as well as rewards and achievements.
