Hawken Reborn is a F2P singleplayer action game featuring microtransactions. The player pilots an agile mecha, viewing the game from its cockpit, completing quests among the ruins of a colony on an alien planet.
Hawken Reborn is a free-to-play mecha action game . It's a new installment in a franchise originating from 2012. Rather than by the original developers, Adhesive Games, it was created by an in-house team of 505 Games.
Plot
The game is set in the distant future, in a time when humanity has colonized many other worlds, on the planet Illal. Envisioned as a colonist utopia, corporate greed turned it into hell, contaminating its atmosphere and releasing a nanite plague that destroyed half the world.
The playable character is a mercenary mecha pilot carrying out dangerous yet profitable jobs in the ruins of Illal.
Mechanics
Hawken Reborn is an action game, in which we pilot a mecha. The machine is very fast and agile resulting in dynamic combat. We view the game from the first-person perspective, from the cockpit, wielding a wide range of diverse weapons.
Unlike the first Hawken, designed in online competition in mind, Hawken Reborn only supports singleplayer. The player must explore the world in search of resources and fulfill contracts received over the radio.
Earned money can be invested into repairing and upgrading our machine, as well as constructing new ones. The player must be careful, as if the mecha is destroyed, they'll lose all they've gained during the expedition.

Technical aspects
The game's 3D visuals, especially the creative mecha designs, are rather appealing.
