Hawked

Mechanics

Hawked is a third-person game. Our primary objective is to extract artifacts. To achieve this, we must eliminate enemies, solve puzzles and avoid traps. We'll face off against AI-controlled lizards and other players competing against us to achieve the same goals. There are also plenty of random events, such as randomly spawning, well-guarded caravans. All this means the game is very dynamic and fast-paced, and though we can play solo, we'll be better off as part of a Renegade trio.

Acquired artifacts grant us various passive bonuses which increase our combat capabilities. Said abilities include turning into a bush while crouching or a sixth sense. Aside from firearms, we'll make use of some useful gadgets, such as boomerangs, deployable shields and scout falcons.

To win, we must escape the island with the artifacts; though escaping even with only some minor treasure is also a success. We'll spend our downtime in Riftwake, a safe area where we can sell and dismantle treasures; this grants us currency used to purchase better equipment. The game also features lots of cosmetics, such as outfits and hairstyles, letting us adjust our character's appearance to our preferences.

Game modes

Although Hawked supports solo play, the game only reaches its full potential in multiplayer.

Hawked makes use of an extremely colorful, cartoonish artstyle.
