Harvest Moon Heroes is the next (and first on the Wii) part of the "farmer's simulator", as Marvelous Interactive's series is usually called. We play the role of a beginner farmer (a boy or a girl to choose from) and get a piece of land that needs to be developed.

The creators of the Harvest Moon series have surprised us with patents for many years, the best of which have also been placed in Heroes. So we buy seeds that need to be planted, water them every day, take care of the animals (e.g. we need to milk cows that give milk), and after some time we sell the plants we have bred. All this in order to earn some money, for which we can then buy more seeds or new species of animals.

The longer we play, the more experience we gain. While at first he is able to water the seeds one at a time, over time he gains the ability to water several times at once. Our household is growing, we buy new animals and tools. You can also walk around the village in which we live - it is worth it, because the inhabitants often serve as a help. We can get from them additional seeds, instruments, and also sell them their belongings. It is even possible to get married to a chosen person (depending on the sex of the character we choose at the beginning) and to have children who will be helpful in our farm over time.

Harvest Moon Series

A series of life simulations, enriched with RPG elements and solutions from the economic strategy genre. Its roots date back to 1996, when on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System console appeared the first Harvest Moon. The game received a moderately warm reception from gamers and critics (its average rating on Gamerankings was just over 73/100). Nevertheless, its good sales encouraged the authors to develop the idea, which in time resulted in the creation of a whole series. Over the years, successive installments of the series have been released on a variety of platforms - from desktop consoles, handhelds and mobile devices to personal computers.
