Mechanics

In Harvest Days we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). Before starting the game we create our own character, deciding on his gender and appearance. Then there is nothing else for us to do but to jump into the agricultural adventure. The game gives us a vast open world. Full daylight cycle, seasons and dynamically changing weather have been implemented in the game.

Running your own farm primarily involves cultivation of land, planting various vegetables and fruit trees, taking care of your crops and, consequently, harvesting. In addition, we can breed various animals, which in return for good care will pay us back with eggs (chickens) or milk (cows) or will serve us as an ecological means of transport (horses). But it doesn't end there, because nothing stands in the way to go into the world with a pickaxe in hand and look for valuable resources or go into the forest with an axe on your shoulder to get some wood. We can sell the resources we gain or use them to build houses and outbuildings, as well as to create furniture and useful tools. As we progress, not only our farm grows, but also the amount of money in our account. Thanks to this, over time we can start to grow, for example by purchasing more and more advanced machines, such as a tractor, pickup, excavator or harvester.

During the game we can also devote ourselves to other activities, establishing relationships with the residents of Duda's Village and performing tasks for them, as well as learning new things, such as cooking or fishing. Nothing stands in the way of trying to discover the secrets of Duda's Village and finding ancient ruins or following the trail of a legendary treasure. As we progress, we earn special points that are used to develop the character and acquire new abilities.
