Harmonix Music VR: The Dance for PS4 is a music game created for PlayStation VR headsets, developed by Harmonix, known from the first productions in the Guitar Hero series and the Rock Band franchise. Plot
Hamonix Music VR: The Dance is not strictly speaking a game, as you do not have any specific goals to achieve. The gameplay is instead based simply on a musical experience in a virtual reality. You find yourself in an odd, colourful world full of strange beings, who you can start a party with. To do that, you use a mixing console and play tracks. The developers created only 17 audio tracks, but you can expand the repertoire by plugging in a USB device and use your own playlist, which should run smoothly in the game. A good party, however, cannot really be good without the guests having fun, so you can also become a choreographer, who will teach them how to dance.
The choreography-creating system is very easy. When you point at a guest, they will stand still while you can move them around, change their pose, etc. Thus you create move sequences, which the guests can recreate on the dance floor. Moreover, you can leave the mixing console and dance yourself.
Additionally, you can decorate your club with items that you create by “painting” them in-game. Those objects will pulse to the rhythm of the music, just like the rest of the in-game world.
