Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour is a combination of simple strategy and dance game. The title is a very clear reference to the popular youth series, aired by Disney Channel since 2006. This is also not the first attempt to prepare a game on the basis of this show. The Nintendo DS console has already seen several titles based on the adventures of the main character. This time, however, we are dealing with a game developed exclusively on Wii.
Spotlight World Tour refers, of course, to the themes presented in the aforementioned TV series. So we get to know the further fate of a certain teenager. Miley Stewart is an ordinary pupil during the daytime. At night, however, she becomes a famous singer, Hanna Montana. Only her trusted friends know about her double life. The plot of the Spotlight World Tour refers to the world tour that Hannah (Miley) intends to go on together with his team.
As has already been said, this product is primarily a dance game. This applies to both rehearsals and proper performances with the public. As in other games of this genre, we have to waving the Wii-pilot in an appropriate way, following the on-screen instructions. This results in new points, which are added to the overall score.
However, the fun doesn't end with the performances themselves. We also need to plan a tour, among other things. During the game we can visit London, Paris or Tokyo. An important role is also played by maintaining constant contact with the fans of the main character's talent and other dancers.
Spotlight World Tour also offers extensive options for changing the appearance of a controlled teenager. Here we can decide to buy new elements of clothing, going to the fashion stylists of our choice. Finished creations can then be photographed and saved in a specially designated catalogue.
The game's visual setting presents the level of workmanship typical for this type of production. The main character is usually observed on stage or in the wardrobe. Noteworthy is the option of selecting additional attractions associated with each performance. Among other things, we can take care of other lighting or add interesting special effects.
