Hank Haney's World Golf PC

Hank Haney's World Golf is a golf simulator created by the British Bluestone Interactive studio. The production was developed in cooperation with the well-known instructor Hanek Haney, responsible for the success of such stars as Tiger Woods and Mark O'Mear.

The game contains many different gameplay modes and introductory courses to this popular sport all over the world. Of course, the most important of these is the master golf module, which consists of eighteen holes. Before we start playing, we can use a rich tutorial, presenting a variety of hitting techniques, allowing us to smoothly move from one point to the next.

In addition, the authors allow us to participate in other types of golf game - we find here, among others, Par 3, in which we have to make three strokes on each hole and free variations of this sport in the form of Crazy Golf and Minigolf. An interesting variety turns out to be the Pitch and Putt mode, which is an amateur variation of championship golf played on a seven times smaller field with a maximum distance of 70 meters between consecutive holes. In addition, the creators allow us to take part in competitions for the longest stroke or to play the above mentioned Stableford style courses with a slightly changed scoring. For players who want to practice before taking part in a real competition, the authors have also prepared a training mode.

The game includes an extensive editor of all fields, so that we can modify the game modules to suit your needs and try your hand at different conditions and rules of the game.

The graphical engine used in this production allowed to reproduce the dynamic lighting and shading system - moreover, the creators decided to introduce changing weather conditions, which has a noticeable impact on the adopted gameplay strategy. An additional convenience is the precise module for determining the distance to the hole, which, combined with wind information, allows you to select the right impact technique.
