Guns, Gore & Cannoli

Guns, Gore & Cannoli for PC, PS4 and etc. is a two-dimensional platform game which takes place in the gangster underworld of the twenties of the 20th century. The game was developed by small Belgian studio Crazy Monkey.

Plot

The player assumes the role of one of the gangsters that are members of a family that terrorizes the streets of the city. However, good times end quickly – a new mafia appears on the scene with the intention to rule the city. What’s even worse, hordes of zombies can be seen frequently on the streets. In order to face the threat, the player will use various weapons – among the equipment of the controlled gangster there are typical mafia weapons (pistols, rifles etc.) as well as machetes, Molotov’s Cocktails, or flamethrowers.

Mechanics

The gameplay mechanics use the “over-the-top” style in which one moves through fragments of the map while cleaning them of waves of opponents. The developers created more than a dozen of various levels located both inside buildings and in open space. Hidden bonuses like weapon upgrades and new game modes are an additional motivation for playing.

Technical aspects

Visuals of Guns, Gore & Cannoli for PC, PS4 and etc. are similar to those in Shank or Mark of the Ninja. The game was created using comic-like, hand-drawn graphics and the story of the game is supplemented with cartoon cutscenes.
