Gun Loco produced by Japanese company Square Enix, an impressive TPP shooting game in which players play as crazy (loco) criminals fighting to death and life.
In Gun Loco we find ourselves on a forgotten planet, circulating on the edge of the solar system, acting as a huge prison inhabited by the most degenerated criminals. The detainees, who come together in different factions - they would have no chance of survival on their own - are fighting for life, power and freedom.
"This is facilitated by the fact that the planet is devoid of a target, and not a single guardian watches over the law and order. There is complete anarchy, and the only valid argument is brutal force and the most sophisticated ways to get rid of the opponent. The battles are fought on several dozen maps, set in seven different climate zones. Characteristic feature of each location are the ruins filling them, allowing not only to launch an effective attack, but also forcing the player to behave properly on the battlefield.
Gun Loco is a run-and-gun shooter. This means that in order to survive, the player is forced to stay in constant motion. This makes it easier for the mechanics of the game, rewarding quick overcoming of subsequent fragments of the map. The latter are highly interactive, providing spectacular gameplay. The game did not run out of such actions as slides under unclosed gates, jumping over lower obstacles, and using them as shields.
The creators placed great emphasis on the design of characters, which are one of the showcases of Gun Loco. Among the degenerates are the crazy Mifune, who wears the mask of a rabbit, and Nuts, who boasts an impressive haircut. Among them was also a cool Maddox. It is worth noting that the heroes were invented by Kenny Wong, the co-creator of the Brothersworker figure.
Before moving his visions to the game, the famous designer created a number of existing models of characters. Thanks to this treatment, the prisoners imprisoned on the planet are characterized by a sophisticated, crazy design. Everyone has a unique finishing blow (so called finisher), as well as a movement ridiculing the fallen rival. The heroes of Gun Loco use many types of weapons, including both non-standard means of extermination (e.g. banana skins) and more conventional ones (e.g. bazooka).
The production will offer the possibility of playing in single player mode as well as in network multiplayer mode. Up to twelve Xbox 360 owners will be able to participate in one clash in a multi-person option.
