GripShift is a racing game in which players sit behind the wheel of fictitious vehicles racing on fantastically designed routes.

GripShift is a racer originally released for PlayStation Portable. A year after the game’s debut the developers decided to port the production to PlayStation 3. This title was included among digitally distributed games via PlayStation Store.

In comparison to the original game, the most obvious change is the graphics, as PS3 offers much more power than PSP. The resolution was increased to 720p and animation is displayed in 60 frames per second. Some gameplay elements were also slightly changed – now there are 25 tracks and over 125 stages within them.

The core gameplay is still about races of inventive vehicles, like in the famous game series MegaRace and Rollcage. In-game tracks offer many different paths, as they are full of ramps, spins, power-ups, etc. You must drive like a stuntman, but also think logically to find hidden treasures. The gameplay is spiced up with a dynamic soundtrack, consisting of remix songs from the portable version of GripShift.
