An excellent adventure game that takes us to the posthumous world, where we play the role of an agent working for death, who solves the mystery of the problems digesting this land. The game consists mainly in conducting conversations, exploring the location and searching for objects and solving puzzles.

Grim Fandango is another great adventure game developed by LucasArts, and much like its predecessors, it is distinguished by awesome graphics and soundtrack, as well as an enthralling story with unique atmosphere. The action takes place in the afterlife, meaning the place where we go after we die. The players assume the role of one of the death's agents, Manny Calavera, who tends to the “newcomers”, evaluates their achievements and deeds, and then sends them to heaven, purgatory or hell.

For some time now, something is amiss in the imaginary land of death, and our task is to find out what. There is an incredible adventure ahead of us, which offers over 90 unique locations and allows us to meet about 55 NPCs. In the end of it all, there is the solution to the problem that plagues the posthumous world.

  • Awesome, enthralling story full of Mexican folklore.
  • Unique 3D graphics.
  • Over 55 characters to meet.
  • Over 7000 dialogue lines.
  • 90 exotic locations.
  • Intuitive interface.
  • Game designed by Tim Schafer, the creator of Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle.

Great Games That Sold Poorly (at Least Initially)

It's no news that artistic success doesn't have to go hand in hand with commercial one. However, sometimes it's hard to believe that the titles which are successful and popular to this day were complete commercial flops in their first years.
