Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a slasher that is filled with grotesque black humor. It was developed by the indie Angry Demon Studio, and was released by Wired Productions.

Plot

Gori: Cuddly Carnage unfolds a grim vision in which humanity has been slaughtered by the Adorable Army. Under this innocent name hide hordes of mutated toys, destroying everything they deem not cute enough. We take on the role of Gori - an adorable kitty who decides to confront them. The protagonist is not left alone - he's accompanied by his murder weapon, a razor-sharp hoverboard named FRANK, and a constantly complaining AI called CH1-P.

Game mechanics

In Gori: Cuddly Carnage we observe the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). Gori rides on his hoverboard, which is not only a means of transportation for him, but also a deadly weapon. Moving through a variety of locations, warped by mutated toys, we are mainly engaged in slaughtering hordes of enemies. On our way stands both cannon meat (led by unicorns), found here in wholesale quantities, as well as powerful bosses, who surprise us with their appearance (like a teddy bear hidden in a box, from which grow huge spider legs), and defeating them is much more challenging. Battles with enemies are extremely dynamic, and during them we have to be in constant motion, performing spectacular, murderous combinations of attacks.

Technical aspects

Graphics in Gori: Cuddly Carnage is made in a colorful, slightly cartoonish style, enriched with neon accents. Nevertheless, the game is very brutal - the blood of the slaughtered toys is pouring down in streams, and their severed limbs are flying around the screen. While playing, you will enjoy a fast-paced rock soundtrack.
