Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout Description
Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout is a fitness video game created by a Japanese game developer Rocket Studio in partnership with an American fitness center chain Gold's Gym.
Players can work on their physical fitness following one of several workout regimes. The scope and intensity of exercise is tailored to player’s individual preferences, but the major emphasis was placed on improving the functioning of the circulatory system (exercises such as squats, running, cardio-boxing, etc.).
Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout developers saw to it that trainings were not monotonous. You can work out the traditional way, optionally using popular Nintendo Wii peripherals (Wii BalanceBoard), or do exercises in form of mini-games – e.g. running or boxing.
Statistics serve an essential role in the game. Data is stored in console’s memory on the run. Thanks to that, players can trace back their training sessions, check the results and plan the next session.
In terms of visuals, Gold’s Gym: Cardio Workout looks similar to WiiSports series. Therefore, the 3D graphics is quite simple, although character models are more detailed.
