God of War Collection

God of War Collection is a set of the first two installments of the God of War series, designed for PlayStation 3 owners. The compilation of extraordinary action games was designed to prepare Sony platform owners for the adoption of God of War III, the official continuation of Kratos' adventures originally known from PlayStation 2.

In God of War we meet Kratos, once a Spartan warrior, in a game that takes on the role of a dirty robot specialist at the service of Olympus. The plot revolves around the figure of the Greek god of war, Aresa, who unleashed a real hell in Athens, releasing hundreds of zombie soldiers and his most terrible beasts into the world. By order of Olympus, Kratos has to find a Pandora's Box in order to perform an almost impossible act - defeating the Aresa.

The action of the second part of the game takes place some time later, when Zeus himself begins to feel threatened by the ambition of Kratos, who by taking the place of Aresa himself became the god of war. A trap is set, whereby the hero is deprived of his divine powers and then killed by Zeus. Hades, however, has no luck with the Spirit of Sparta, for this is the second time hellish depths have fled. He is saved by the Titans, who with his help intend to end the mythological era of gods once and for all. The cruel warrior once again takes in his hands the terrible Chaos Blades, once received from the Ares itself, and then confronts many different enemies. Among the latter we meet beasts of the likes of a cyclop and griffin, and even a three-headed dog Cerbera from the abyss of Hades.

Both productions released in God of War Collection compilation operate at 60 frames per second at 720p resolution. Conversion of both titles was prepared by Bluepoint Games company, known as Blast Factor. Both items also include sets of Trophies, which will make it even more enjoyable to finish the adventures of Kratowo again. The game box also contains a code to download a demo version of God of War III.
