Gobliiins

Blessed was the time when guests gathered during a feast in the royal chambers. The latest court gossips were exchanged, wonderful dishes were consumed, and not very talented bard was listened to. And it would have been a really successful meeting had it not been for one small, but fraught with consequences, event. At some point, the king began to behave strangely: first he started screaming as if he were being skinned, then he was hitting the table with his head, and finally burst into laughter. The king's medic had no doubt: his royal highness went mad, but as to the reason, he would not know. A dark shadow fell on the land, because the king needed a straitjacket instead of a crown. The news of the ruler's indisposition widely echoed around the world and it would probably soon lay in ruins, if not for the Goblin daredevils, who appeared on the horizon, ready to explain the mysterious disease of the king...

The player's task is to find out who is responsible for the king going mad and possibly dissuading this persom from ocntinuing the ominous plan. Three heroes will be made available to us: Hooter - a mage who is not afraid to use his magic, BoBo - a forceful man with muscles bigger than brains, and Dwayne - a porter who can transport various objects appearing here and there. Alone, they are no match for the forces of darkness, but the three of them together... cause even more trouble.

Gobliiins definitely bets on humor and it can be seen both after a funny introduction, as well as in the gameplay, full of various gags. Our heroes comment on all the player's actions with grimaces and even if they do something wrong, they can expect cheerful reactions from the eponymous creatures. The game is a linear adventure game. The player is simply thrown into subsequent maps, in which, by combining the skills of creatures, they must perform certain actions and thus, move the action forward. Each location has its own password, so it is not necessary to start the game always from the beginning.

Specific audiovisuals, accompanying the adventures of goblins is the strongest point of the game. Both the graphics, full of caricatural character images, as well as their barking sounds are memorable. Both elements have become a determinant of the quality of the whole series of games of this type and have largely determined its great success. Although the game is designed for puzzle maniacs, it can also be successfully played by those who generally avoid them.
