Gladiatus: Hero of Rome is a free browser-based MMORPG created by the German company Gameforge. Players play the roles of ancient gladiators fighting for fame and wealth in a fantastic world full of mythical monsters.

Gladiatus: Hero of Rome is Gameforge's proposal for all Internet users who are close to the atmosphere of such films as Spartakus and Gladiator. The game was prepared in the convention of a free, browser-based MMORPG, enabling thousands of players from all over the world to have fun together.

Gladiatus: Hero of Rome takes place in a fantastic world modelled on ancient Rome. Players play the roles of unforgiving gladiators who fight for fame and riches in ancient colossuses.

The game is based on a simple assumption of character development, thanks to the acquired equipment and successively increased coefficients. The key to success is to raise funds to cover training costs, buy better weapons or elixirs.

The basis of the game in Gladiatus: Hero of Rome are fights with other players. During the breaks, however, you can visit an auction house, shop, alchemist's workshop or tavern, or explore the dangerous locations around the city. A good source of income is also different types of missions commissioned by NPCs and work paid at rates depending on the level of experience.
