An unusual arcade game by Other Ocean Interactive, developed with VR headsets in mind. In Giant Cop, we are taken to a microscopic town of Micro City where we assume the role of a law enforcer. However, we are a quite specific policeman since we resemble the famous Godzilla in terms of size. We have to use our size to keep order in the metropolis.

Giant Cop for PC is an unusual production by Other Ocean Interactive, the creators of Ultimate Mortal Kombat, among others. The title was developed for virtual reality headsets.

Plot

The players are taken to Micro City which is, as the name suggests, a microscopic town. While playing, we assume the role of a law enforcer but not an ordinary one since, in terms of size, rather than a typical policeman, he resembles Godzilla. We are huge and we have to use this fact to maintain order within the metropolis.

Mechanics

Giant Cop for PC not only involves catching criminals but also conducting simple investigations. The available missions take place in an open world. Sometimes we have to, for example, rid a crow of beachgoers of nasty thugs, which isn’t too difficult since no criminal is dangerous for someone of the protagonist’s size. However, it may also happen that we will have to find a thief of a flower, possessing only a magnifying glass and a picture of the plant. Moreover, the developers gave the players some freedom of action so whether we will be seen as a good cop or a bad cop depends on the way we perform our missions.

Game modes

Other Ocean Interactive’s production features only a story campaign. It isn’t long and provides around 5 hours of gameplay. Naturally, this amount can vary because if we really rush through the game, we can complete it even in three hours.

Technical aspects

Giant Cop for PC is not too technically advanced a production. The graphics are cartoonish in style, known from many other titles, although the game is characterized by an interesting summer atmosphere.
