Ghost Whisperer is an episodic adventure game based on the popular in our country series The Soul Enchanter. Legacy Interactive is responsible for its development. In the past, Legacy Interactive was famous for its conceptually similar titles based on such series as Law and Order or Criminal puzzles of New York.
The plot of the game largely coincides with the events in the TV series, so we follow Melinda Gordon from the small town of Grandview. The main character has a unique gift that allows her to communicate with the spirits of the dead. Melinda supports the transition to the other side, usually by contacting their loved ones or resolving matters that they have not yet been able to finalise during their lifetime. It's worth mentioning that the game also features other characters known from the series, including Jim, the husband of the main character.
Proper fun represents a kind of adventure called hidden object adventure. This means that the gameplay is characterized by very simplified assumptions, being aimed at casual players. The player's role is limited to finding interactive objects from the environment and interacting with them. A total of five different issues, representing virtual episodes of the series, await a solution.
Ghost Whisperer's visual setting consists mainly of meticulously crafted static backgrounds, of which there are about thirty in the whole game.
