Arcade shooter rooted in retro style - both in terms of appearance and gameplay mechanics. Game was created by Lucid Games studio, which was brought to life by former members of the Bizzare Creations team, the authors of the first two installments of the series.

Geometers Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved is one of the retro-style series of arcade shooters, launched on the Xbox 360 console. The "Three" was founded by the Lucid Games studio, which included members of Bizzare Creations - the creators of the first two installments of the series. The role of the publisher was played by the reactivated Sierra studio, which is a part of Activision Publishing concern. Evolved is an improved version of the first release of the game, available as a free update for all game owners.

Generally speaking, playing with Wars 3 Geometers involves controlling a small spacecraft moving on the surface of three-dimensional geometric figures and shooting down enemies flying in. In combat, players can use the help of accompanying drones and five special abilities, such as guidance, a super cannon or a black hole. In addition to the regular stages, from time to time the game is also diversified by boss battles.

The solo campaign of the basic version of the game consists of more than 50 levels, and especially for veterans of the series, the creators have also prepared several classic arcade levels, taken from the first installments of the game. The game takes place in several different modes, such as Pacifism, King and Claustrophobia. With the free Evolved update, the number of levels has increased to a hundred. In the game there is also a new type of drona and a special hardcore mode, in which the fight takes place without the use of drones and special powers. Multiplayer mode allows you to play co-operative games as well as battles with other players. It is also possible to compete with friends for the best possible place in special global rankings.

Unlike its predecessors, Geometers Wars 3: Dimensions was realized in full 3D, which largely affects not only the appearance of the production, but also the mechanics of the game. The visual setting is kept in a futuristic style, which, combined with extremely vivid colours and fast action, gives the impression of chaos.
