A calm game in which we are engaged in creating a variety of gardens from scratch. At Garden Galaxy, we plant plants, build ponds and place furniture and decorations, and then admire our creations under selected weather and lighting conditions.

Garden Galaxy is a relaxing game that escapes clear genre classification. It was developed by Anneka Tran, an indie developer.

Game mechanics

In Garden Galaxy we observe the action in an isometric view. We create from scratch various gardens, located on boards covered with a grid of square fields. Planting plants, building ponds, as well as placing various furniture and decorations, we have to make sure that everything blends well together. And when our concept changes, we should clean up the elements left over from the previous one. To buy new items for our garden, we need coins, which we earn by selling unneeded items or receiving them from mysterious beings visiting our small domain. Nevertheless, the wait for the latter can get long.

As we progress, we can enlarge the area occupied by our garden by adding more fields to the board. And when we have everything buttoned up to the last button, there is nothing left for us to do but to adjust the lighting and weather to our own preferences, and then admire our little creation.
