Eishockey Manager 2009 Description
Eishockey Manager 2009 is the next installment of the German hockey manager, created by Netmin Games on behalf of The Games Company. The product fits into the annual set of titles published by our western neighbors for fans of various sports disciplines, such as boxing, football or a popular handball.
This project allows the player to become the manager of one of the clubs of the German ice hockey league (Deutsche Eishockey Liga) or take control over one of the national teams. It is therefore easy to deduce that our aim is to win either at national level or in the prestigious world championships.
In order to accomplish their tasks, the authors provided us with a number of tools with which we can deal with the team's affairs on an ongoing basis - starting from the selection of players to the first line-up, through the construction of tactics, and ending with the acquisition of sponsors. Most of the activities are performed by moving through the colorful, two-dimensional menu. We can only use the 3D view during matches to see how our commands are carried out by hockey players riding on the ice rink.
Our competencies also include arranging social events, establishing a training regime and deciding on the amount of bonuses that will be awarded to the players for their involvement. If we want, we can go one step further and design our own sports hall, where our team's matches will take place, or play with the action of the editor attached to the game - the tool in Eishockey Manager 2009 allows you to modify the appearance and features of players, as well as to design new tricots for them.
