Farm Together 2

Farm Together 2 is the second installment of a series of simplified agricultural simulators launched in 2018. The authors of the original - Milkstone Studios team - are behind the development of the sequel. Their portfolio also includes such projects as the Ziggurat and White Noise series.

Mechanics

In Farm Together 2 we view the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). Similar to the first part of the series, we start the game with a small plot of land and basic tools. Our main occupation is working on the farm, i.e. growing fields, harvesting crops, planting trees, and breeding animals. The game also offers a simple terraforming system, allowing us to adjust the terrain topography to individual needs or preferences.

Our activities do not end here, because at any moment we can go to the nearby town to sell the fruits of our labor, as well as meet its inhabitants and accept tasks from them, which are a source of additional cash. In breaks from performing duties and exploring the area, we can retreat to our home and devote ourselves to cooking or painting.

Hard-earned money can be used to buy new buildings, tools, machines (including a tractor, which significantly speeds up our work) and, of course, land for further crops. Apart from that, we are also allowed to spend earned cash on clothes, as well as decorative elements for our farm, such as fences or roads.

The game has implemented a mechanic known from the first part of the series, allowing for time to flow without our participation, which means we always have something to do.

Game modes

In Farm Together 2 we can play alone or in cooperative mode - locally or over the Internet. The game allows us to invite only friends or all those willing to help on our farm (to whom we can assign specific permissions).

Technical aspects

The graphic design of Farm Together 2 is maintained in the cartoon style known from the first installment of the series.
