The third installment in a series of indie RPGs by The Gentlebros, set on an archipelago full of treasures and Pi-rats. Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean has us play as an adventuring purrivateer discovering the secrets of the isles.
Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean is the third part in a series of feline action RPGs by indie studio Gentlebros. It was published by Kepler Interactive, the publishers of Sifu and Scorn.
The game is set on the Purribean - an archipelago full of rat pirates searching for a long lost treasure, the Northern Star. The playable feline privateer sets out there as well alongside their spirit companion. They must be careful, however, as the Pi-rat hordes won't let them explore peacefully.
The gameplay revolves around exploring the open world, fighting enemies and searching islands in search of purrecious treasures. During our adventure we'll explore various items and secrets dungeons filled with riches. The loot includes new equipment (like a blunderpuss), spells and outfits to distinguish ourselves from other purrivateers. To reach some of them we must face the pirates hunting us.
For the first time in the series, the player can sail the seas and battle enemies aboard their own ship. The combat system has been reworked, introducing combos and switching weapons.
Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean is non-linear, letting us follow our own paths as according to our wants and needs. Exploring the map and acquiring clues scattered throughout the archipelago gradually brings us closer to the mysterious Northern Star.
This game supports singleplayer and local co-op on a shared or split screen.
Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean features charming, 2.5D cartoonish visuals. The gameplay is made more epic thanks to the atmospheric soundtrack.

Game Ratings for Cat Quest III Video Game.
TheGamer: 4 / 5 by Quinton O'Connor
Cat Quest 3 lured me in on name alone but won me over with its great gameplay loop. A better tale might have worked wonders for it, but start to finish, it’s still a good time.
Gaming Nexus: 8.5 / 10 by Eric Hauter
Cat Quest III serves as a fantastic introduction to this charming franchise. With surprisingly deep combat, intriguing exploration, and wild story turns, the game kept me up far later than I intended for several nights in a row. Appropriate for the kids, but good enough that Dad soon booted the kids off the controller and took over. If you can stand the endless puns, this is a great, breezy action RPG that will entertain the entire family for hours.
PlayStation Universe: 9 / 10 by Sebastian Hawden
Cat Quest 3 will be too breezy and simple for some. I scoff at these folks and can simply enjoy a game that makes me feel so warm and wholesome inside. Cat Quest 3 is beautiful, well written and funny. It's trimmed to perfection with zero fat or waffle. Sometimes I just want to have fun and the world of Cat Quest is a place where I can make this happen.
