While The Sims 4 Seasons hasn't reinvented the wheel, it has brought a much-requested feature to the latest iteration of the Sims franchise. No longer will your Sims be trapped in endless sunny days. Seasons brings some much-needed variation to the day to day play of The Sims 4, and I'm very glad for that.

The Sims 4: Seasons Description
The Sims 4: Seasons is an expansion pack to the life simulator The Sims 4 that was released in 2013. Both the base game and the add-on were developed by EA Maxis.
Mechanics
As the title suggests, the expansion introduces four seasons into the life of Sims. Each season features different weather conditions, unique holidays and various activities for families. For example, in winter the characters can make a snowman and try some ice-skating. In spring, they can obtain badges as scouts. In summer, they can relax in family pools and in autumn, they can gather honey.
The constantly changing weather and the circle of seasons can also impact the relations of Sims. The game also features new holidays like the New Year, Love Day, Crops Day and the Winter Fiesta. Each of these celebrations provides new decorations. The game also features an option to create personalized holidays, enabling the players to decide which traditions their Sims will celebrate.
The players can also develop the garden talents of their Sims in new ways. Florists can create flower compositions and deliver them through the city. Other Sims can select a botanical career and analyze plants, write a thesis, create theories and fight for research grants. Never seen before clothes and objects are introduced as well.
Game modes
The Sims 4: Seasons features only a singleplayer mode.
Technical aspects
The Sims 4: Seasons features the same graphics as the basic version of The Sims 4. The expansion requires the core game.
