Lucius II: The Prophecy

Lucius II: The Prophecy for PC is a sequel to the game called Lucius. The original title was a horror adventure game released in 2012 which interestingly turned around the typical motives of similar games. Shiver Games studio (which also created the second game in the series) allowed the player to control forces of evil represented by a few years old boy who was the son of Lucifer. The boy was tasked with brutally and intricately murdering everyone nearby.

Plot

Lucius II is a direct continuation of the plot told in the previous game. The title protagonist, as the only survivor of the massacre that occurred in his family mansion, is taken to a mental facility in the nearby city of Ludlow. There, he starts another massacre. To make things more challenging, his father took away all of his devil powers.

Mechanics

The developer did not wanted to repeat the mistakes of the first Lucius and this time offered a very large, sandbox-like freedom. The protagonist can explore a large, three-floor hospital and the area of the Ludlow city surrounding it. Each level is a separate sandbox in which one can decide who, when and how to kill. The surroundings can be used in various ways to prepare traps. In addition to that, Lucius once again can use various hell powers (although he must unlock and gather first). There are more than one hundred potential victims.

The game was developed using the Unity technology.
