Gunman Clive, released on PC and 3DS, is an independent action game created by Swedish developer Horberg Productions. The company has only one employee - Bertil Horberg. The title draws inspiration from old-school platformers. It offers 2D graphics and classic, arcade gameplay.
Plot
Gunman Clive tells the story of the eponymous revolver Clive, who decided to help the mayor of Johnson get his kidnapped daughter back from dangerous bandits.
Mechanics
The gameplay is about traversing successive levels prepared by the developer. Each of them has a lot of opponents to defeat, who have different skills. From time to time, it is also necessary to fight a duel with a much stronger boss. The game takes place exclusively in the Wild West, but Gunman Clive offers several attractions, including stagecoach chase, a fight on a rushing train or firefights in the very center of a small town.
Technical aspects
Gunman Clive has an interesting graphics style based on only a few colors dominated by yellow and orange. The game was made in 3D, but we can only move in two dimensions.
