Madden NFL 98

Madden NFL 98 is another part of a sports game licensed by the most prestigious American football league. Updated line-ups of all the teams in it have been handed over to players. We decide whether we want to take part in a single game or an entire season by setting the optimal game calendar and running out onto the pitch.

In the edition marked with the number 98, the creators decided to solve most of the problems known from previous editions, including the behavior of computer-controlled players. By improving their artificial intelligence it is more difficult to break through to the opponents' point field, because the defenders are much more efficient in trying to take the ball away from us. There is also no shortage of new games ready to be tested on the pitch. At the end of the game the best player is selected. Those who receive the most awards will be invited to take part in the prestigious Pro Bowl match.

In the case of graphic design, the creators decided to combine 2D and 3D elements. Therefore, all the competitors were presented in the form of two-dimensional sprites. Three-dimensional stadiums, modelled on real facilities, look much better. During the match we are encouraged by the popular sports commentator Pat Summerall who skillfully accentuates the most exciting moments.
