The Sorcerer's Apprentice is an action game created by developers from Disney Interactive Studios. The plot of the title is based on the events presented in the film The Wizard's Pupil. Players take on the role of Dave, who must free his master Baltazar and with his help stop six evil mages threatening the people of New York.

Prepared by Disney Interactive Studio, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, allows movie lovers of the same title to play the main character and solve the problem of evil magicians themselves.

The story of the game tells the story of Dave, a disciple of the mighty sorcerer Baltazar, who, as a result of an accident, faces the most difficult task of his course. As a result of bad power actions, New York was captured by six enemy magicians who fled from eternal confinement and imprisoned in the inter-dimensional cell of their main opponent Baltazar. Dave's task is to quickly master the art of magic and with its help restore order in the city.

The game system was built on the principles of action-adventure. Players control the character on the top screen, where the action is shown from a camera suspended above the hero. The creators used the lower screen as a place where users can decide what spells to cast and what magic to train the character. Mages' clashes are conducted at a fast pace, although they also require a tactical approach and discovering the weaknesses of the opponents they encounter.
