Gallop Racer 2006 is another part of the series of horse racing simulators. The title combines action (rivalry on the track) with strategy (career planning). Each race is enriched with a dynamic commentary, and the game should appeal to everyone who likes competition and wants a change after many hours of racing with cars or motorcycles.

There are five play modes at your disposal. The Title Collection allows us to choose a horse, from those created by us or existing in reality, and to move from a novice to a sports pension. Gallop Stallion is a mode that allows you to create new mounts and join them in competition. Memorial Quest gives us the chance to participate in one hundred classic horse races. The Hall of Fame, on the other hand, is an extension of the previous mode by another fifty routes. The last way to play Field of Legend is to use a mount, created in Gallop Stallion mode, to race against horses existing in the real world.

Every race is preceded by a spectacular presentation of the rider and rider. After the introduction we enter the competition and it is only the efficiency of our hands that determines the final result. Controlling a horse is very easy. Actually, the only thing we should focus on is the energy bar, displayed in the lower left corner of the screen. The energy decreases when we force the mount to the maximum effort, and increases when we slow down the pace. The key to success is not overusing the whip and making sure you have a good position to finish. Only in the last few hundred meters we rush the horse to give it all. Such tactics are successful in the vast majority of cases.
