Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension is a simple arcade game created mainly for the youngest players. The title refers to a popular TV series broadcast by FOX, aired in 2002 and running through two full seasons. The console version does not replicate any of the episodes, but offers the same characters. This applies to both the main characters and the villains. Galidor was released on PlayStation 2, Gamecube and PC. All three versions present a very similar level of execution, and do not differ from each other in terms of visuals. Asylum Entertainment is responsible for the development of this game; the studio also created Rescue Heroes: Molten Menace and Curse: The Eye of Isis. Galidor offers only single player gameplay.

In the course of the game we play as the 15-year-old boy named Nick, well known to the fans of the series. He is the defender of the eponymous outer dimension. Nick sets out to look for his friends who have been imprisoned by Gorm. Galidor is a classic three-dimensional arcade game. Our character must first of all learn how to overcome the obstacles we encounter. To do this, Nick performs various jumps or moves between dimensions. Each of the main dimensions consists of three basic levels. These maps differ not only in appearance, but also in the type of monsters that we will have to deal with. In order to get to the next board it is usually necessary to find an object or a hidden passage. From time to time we also have to face stronger opponents, i.e. bosses. The main character also has a very interesting ability - he is able to take over some of the powers of defeated enemies. As the game progresses, the range of available attacks expands. Visually, the game looks quite average. However, interesting, futuristic designs of some levels deserves attention.
