The next installment of the popular mobile series Galaxy on Fire, realized this time in the form of MMORTS strategy. Players take the side of one of the three factions and develop their own galactic empire. However, every action taken has an impact not only on the player's score, but also on the whole faction, so the key to success is diplomacy and alliances with other users.

Galaxy on Fire: Alliances is the next installment of the mobile sci-fi series, launched in 2005 on Java-based smartphones. Unlike the previous parts of the series, which combine elements of action and simulator, Galaxy on Fire: Alliances is an MMORTS strategy where we can play together with thousands of players. The game was developed by Fishlabs Entertainment and published by Koch Media.

Mechanics

The action of Galaxy on Fire: Alliances is set in the universe known from previous games of the series - in the Shroud Nebula region, in which there are over 200,000 planets. Players can side with one of the three factions: Terrans, Nivelians and Vossk, which differ in the types of units and technologies. The game boils down to developing our galactic empire - we have to build our space base, collect resources and artifacts, improve technology, produce spacecraft and conquer territories of other players.

Interestingly, in Galaxy on Fire: Alliances, the player isn't only responsible for their own territory - each action we take affects the whole faction. A characteristic feature of the game is a multitude of forms of cooperation and rivalry between players. Success can be achieved in many different ways, including diplomacy and alliances with other users from the same faction. Several hundred players can participate in space battles between factions.

Galaxy on Fire: Alliances features impressive graphics maintained in the style typical for this series. The game is available in a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions.
