A team-based brawler from the creators of Rogue Legacy, which features old school stylistics. In Full Metal Furies we land in an alternative version of Athens. The city and its surroundings are terrorized by titans and other mythological beasts. The players play as the eponymous Furies, whose mission is to restore the order using modern means of defense, including all kinds of firearms.
Full Metal Furies is a brawler action game for PC and XONE. The project was developed by Cellar Door Games, the authors of the popular Rogue Legacy.
The game takes you to a fantasy universe where science fiction is mixed with elements inspired by Greek mythology. On the one hand, we use different types of firearms in combat, and there is no shortage of futuristic elements that you see on your way, but at the same time the adventures put you up against minotaurs and other mythical creatures, all of which is set in an alternative version of Athens.
The main antagonists are the titans terrorizing the region. The story-based campaign tells about a group of warriors – the eponymous Furies – who set out to face those enemies.
Typically for the brawler genre, the player keeps pushing to the right side of the screen, eliminating all enemies on the way. The game features four playable heroines. In addition to the solo campaign the game also offers a co-op mode.
At the same time, the authors prepared a slew of unusual mechanics. Two of the playable characters use various firearms. What is more, when playing alone you can select two warriors, between whom you can switch at any time.
Enemies are often protected by barriers that reflect specific types of attacks, thus forcing you to choose proper gear depending on the challenge you are facing. The game is also enriched by a progression system, inherited from RPGs, as well as crafting mechanics, which allow you to create new items based on schematics found during the adventure.
Full Metal Furies developers decided for a retro stylistics, with full of bright colors and large pixels. At the same time, a lot of modern visual effects were added to this old-fashioned graphic design.

Game Ratings for Full Metal Furies Video Game.
Nindie Spotlight: 7.5 / 10 by Nindie Spotlight
As a game that you can enjoy with a group of friends (the more the merrier) Full Metal Furies is a unique take on a beat-em-up, peppering in some ranged characters elements of action RPG progression as well. It’s smart, sassy, and really forces you to work together to get through some tough spots that will require coordination. Unfortunately as a solo experience it suffers and ends up almost being a completely different game in the process, relatively forcing you to favor use of your melee characters and then hoping your ranged ones don’t become liabilities when you use them. If you have a group that’s looking for an action-based challenge with personality it’s a solid choice though.

COGconnected: 85 / 100 by Steven Ritz
Despite the color shields implemented in singleplayer mode, I still enjoyed Full Metal Furies. The written dialogue between characters is good for a chuckle and keeps things lighthearted amidst the chaos.
