Fright Fight is the murder of the APPsolute Games studio. The whole is designed exclusively for multiplayer games, in which a maximum of four players can play on maps, controlling characters inspired by fairy tales and horror movies.
Fright Fight, released on AND and iOS, is a fighting game modelled on the Super Smash Bros series. The game is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by APPsolute Games studio.
Mechanics
Fright Fight doesn't offer any campaign mode - the game is focused on multiplayer. The playable characters are from various fairy tales and horrors - we can play as, e.g. Yeti, a Werewolf, a Vampire, and even the Death. Initially, players have access only to a handful of characters. The rest must be unlocked with either virtual currency or microtransactions.
The game remains true to the traditions of the fighting games genre - players fight against each other until the opponent's life bar is depleted. Each hero has unique special attacks and blows can be combined to deal more damage. The fights take place on maps, which resemble fragments of platformer stages and have multiple levels. Thanks to this, battles don't only take place on the ground - we can fighting between the floors.
The game can be played in one-on-one duels. However, online battles with four players are much more interesting. The maps become chaotic, and the characters go crazy all over the locations, allowing you to appreciate the advantages of this game. In addition, the authors implemented an RPG system, which allows you to to develop skills and statistics of heroes in exchange for experience points won during multiplayer battles.
Technical aspects
Fright Fight is made in full 3D and the graphics are kept in cartoon style. The artists decided to focus on humor which is why monstrous warriors arouse sympathy rather than fear.
