French Classics GP is an arcade car race, produced by Play-publishing company for less demanding customers from the so-called casual market. Players can try their hand at the wheel of cult French cars. Production is based on technical solutions borrowed from the game Toddler Racer 2.

French Classics GP is another low-budget car game in Play-publishing's publishing portfolio. This time the developers focused on the French legends of the roads of the 1970s and 1980s. At the same time, it was decided to use technical solutions derived from the Toddler Racer 2.

A total of 12 car models have been made available to the players. None of them is licensed, but connoisseurs of automotive products from the Seine may find similarities with cars such as Renault 5, Citroen 2CV or Citroen DS.

The competition takes place on 13 routes in various locations (including the city, suburbs, racetrack). Fun options include a single race and career mode, both of which can only be competed against rivals controlled by artificial intelligence.

Like the original, French Classics GP is characterized by a strictly arcade driving model, which, combined with a lack of destruction system and simple mechanics of control, allows the player to have stress-free fun behind the wheel of virtual cars.
