Framed Collection

Framed Collection is a collection of two games from Framed series which are two-dimensional logic games kept in a noir atmosphere, influenced by comic books and having an original gameplay – the game sees us move comic book stills in order to help the hero avoid pursuit. Framed Collection was developed by Loveshack Entertainment, an independent Australian studio.

Plot

In Framed, the player assumes control of a man who has been framed in a crime he didn’t commit and now attempts to escape the police pursuit. Framed 2 tells a similar story that, in turn, takes place in a different part of the world (Far East).

Mechanics

Framed and Framed 2 are logic games in which we shuffle comic book stills. Our goal is to lead the hero from the starting point to the end of a stripe. As can easily be imagined, our input is limited to choosing the order in which the individual stills are placed. Failure to do so cost the protagonist his life, but each lost attempt results in tips on how to solve the riddle properly.

Technical Aspects

Framed Collection offers stylish two-dimensional graphics. The player is treated to animated comic strips maintained in toned-down, noir design that is reinforced by an atmospheric jazz soundtrack.

Framed was developed thanks to financial support from Screen Australia – an Australian government institution tasked with supporting cultural projects.
