Fracter

Fracter is an unusual isometric mobile action game with logic puzzle elements involving mirrors, reflections, and rays of light. It is the first production by indie studio 4L Games.

Plot

The young masked protagonist embarks on a journey to defeat her inner darkness. On her way, she has to discover the secrets of the dark labyrinth and outsmart its dangerous inhabitants.

Mechanics

Fracter utilizes an isometric point of view. You have to complete a range of levels and solve logic puzzles. To do this, you need to carefully observe your environment, move the light sources into right places, and manipulate certain objects in a given location. Sometimes the protagonist is also chased by monsters—since the game doesn't feature a combat system, you can only run away from them.

Game mode

Fracter features only a singleplayer mode.

Technical aspects

The game features interesting 3D visuals, utilizing only white, black, and shades of gray, and done in a very minimalist style. The overall effect is pleasant and fits the atmosphere of this unusual production well.
