Forza Motorsport 3 X360

Third installment of the Xbox 360-exclusive racing games brings, first and foremost, a new graphics engine and numerous enhancements, the lack of which caused sleepless nights for the fans of the series. A team at Turn 10 prepared over 400 cars of different manufacturers, which makes Forza Motorsport 3 one of the biggest racing games in history. Among other novelties, the most noteworthy ones include the possibility of setting the camera inside a vehicle. Thanks to this, simulation fans can enjoy the gaming experience even more.

Mechanics

Apart the racing tracks known mostly from the previous installments of the series, several new ones, including those located in exotic places, were added. The fans of the original Forza Motorsport also got back the extremely winding Fujimi Kaido.

The game was significantly expanded in terms of tuning and social capabilities. We can take a look at every player’s profile and see their pictures and movies. Moreover, the graphics editor is now easier to use, thanks to which creating our own project is a simpler and more pleasant experience.

The artificial intelligence, responsible for the opponents’ behavior during races, was improved. Our competitors are even more cunning and try to use every opportunity to overtake or block us, and their driving is more aggressive than it has been thus far.

The developers put an emphasis on recreating vehicle behavior as realistically as possible but did not forget about casual players, this time. The game now offers a nearly free time rewind feature as well as automatic breaking before a turn. Driving a car looking from the camera placed behind it is also more pleasant when using a gamepad, although Forza Motorsport 3 is a title that works great with racing wheels controllers.

Technical aspect

The graphics of Forza Motorsport 3 for X360 were somewhat improved in comparison to its predecessor but not to a large extent.
