Fortix is an arcade game created by the Nemesys Games team. The production draws handfuls from the cult title Qix, in which the player's task was to take over successive parts of the board by "marking" a new area.

Fortix is an arcade game very strongly based on the solutions known from the 1981 release of Qix, by Taito America. A player who plays the role of a Fortix knight has to reflect the lands appropriated by wicked dragons.

Proper gameplay boils down to taking over the area and its key buildings (fortresses and towers) by marking new areas. The main character can only move safely on the edge of the map or on an already taken over terrain. In turn, when he leaves his domain and sets off on enemy territories, he begins to draw a yellow line behind him. After the return, the whole area surrounded by the aforementioned line is secured and incorporated into the Fortix estate.

While crossing 22 levels, Fortix finds useful bonuses and opponents in combat. It is worth noting that when we cross a new area, we are exposed to attacks from enemies. We can defeat them by closing them on our premises or taking over the shooting towers. In addition to dragons, there are other obstacles on the Fortix road, which we have to overcome or skillfully avoid.
