Similar to the original, the player can view detailed technical data of sixteen cars, which are part of Ford's offer for the year 1990. We can choose from the following models: Aerostar Eddie Bauer, Bronco II Eddie Bauer, Crown Victoria LX, Escort LX, Festiva LX, Mustang GT Convertible, Probe GT, Ranger STX Sport Rider, Taurus LX Wagon, Thunderbird Super Coupe, Mercury Sable GS, Mercury Topaz GS, Mercury Cougar XR7, Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Mark VII LSC and Lincoln Cartier Town Car. In addition to the condensed dose of information on the parameters of each car, the authors have also introduced their drawings, which is a novelty compared to the previous edition of Ford Simulator. The player can also use the Infocenter section to learn a few things about the components used in the company's cars.
If someone is already bored with the technical nuances, he can use a driving simulator. Compared to the first program in the series, the possibility of choosing a car was eliminated, which greatly impoverished realism. We drive all the time in one model, and we don't know too much about it, because the product doesn't give this information. On the other hand, the gameplay possibilities have been significantly expanded. There are three levels of difficulty (beginner, intermediate and advanced) to choose from. There are no special differences between them, except that collisions with other road users at the middle and advanced level automatically disqualify them from the game, as well as the descent to the roadside. The player can be used for both closed circuit driving (Test Track) and long, endless tracks (City Challenge and Back Roads).
