Five Nights at Freddy's: Original Series

Five Nights at Freddy's: Original Series is a bundle of the first 4 installments of the popular Five Nights at Freddy's horror series. Scott Cawthon developed all the games.

Plot

Five Nights at Freddy's: Original Series tells the story of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant. Each part of the series is different in terms of period the story occuring and focuses on other events:

1. Five Nights at Freddy's - the action of the game takes place in 1993. The player takes on the role of Mike Schmidt, who is the night watchman in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant which is prepared to be closed. During his work he discovers dark secrets linked to the restaurant's past, including a story about missing children;
2. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 - the player takes on the role of another night watchman working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza - Jeremy Fitzgerald. The plot was set in 1987. At that very time, an event known as The Bite of '87 took place in the restaurant, in which one of the animatronics bit off someone's frontal lobe;
3. Five Nights at Freddy's 3 - the action was set 30 years after the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The player is set up as a night watchman, working in a fear house inspired by the events that took place in the restaurant. Among the things recovered from the former restaurant is an intact animatronic hiding the body of a murderer of children.
4. Five Nights at Freddy's 4 - the game brings closer the events that took place in 1983, when the previous version of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza - Fredbear's Family Diner - functioned. For the first time in the history of the cycle, the player does not take on the role of a night watchman. Instead, he takes control of a child who is trying to defend himself against the animatronics.

Mechanics

All the games included in Five Nights at Freddy's: Original Series are based on similar rules. The hero (a night watchman in the first three parts and a child in the fourth) has to survive the five nights, defending himself against the murderous animatronics. The difficulty is that the available resources are very limited and need to be properly managed.
