Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 for AND, PC and etc. brings a continuation to an unusual, survival horror Five Nights at Freddy's – a game awarded a series of prizes and considered the most original horror title of 2014. The game was created again by Scott Cawthon, which took him almost four months.

Plot

As a watchman at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the first installment, the player was given a chance to find out about the relationship between the robots from the restaurant and street rumours concerning kids going missing. In the second installment, the player takes on the role of another watchman who takes up the unusual night job despite the warnings received from his predecessor. According to the management team, the entire building was rebuilt and made much more safer in so doing. As for the famous animatronics, they were gifted with completely new software and a special system of face recognition.

Mechanics

Practically, the general gameplay formula remains unchanged here, though the mechanics were slightly modified. Again, the player monitors the building through the cameras incessantly – the difference lies in other aspects. Instead of being in control of a lighting system here, the player is equipped only with a flashlight; the watch room has one entrance only now, and there is not even a door protecting the protagonist. Thus the only way to avoid dying is to put on a special mask which fools the robots' face recognition system.

In Five Nights at Freddy's 2 for AND, PC and etc., the player has to survive five subsequent nights again (the sixth was implemented as a bonus). Apart from old "friends", the protagonist's life is endangered also by completely new animatronics that get more and more creative in fooling the player with each subsequent night.
